The Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps of WNY, the only senior drum and bugle corps left in Chautauqua County, also performed a concert at the American Legion Post 62 after the Memorial Day parade.
“We had about seven horn players that couldn’t make the Memorial Day celebration in Dunkirk because they had parades in their own areas,” Corps business manager Jack Kujawa stated. “I couldn’t believe the warm welcome the crowd gave the corps director and drum major, Robert Teclaw, when he got off the bus to direct a mini concert in front of Post 62. Bob has been an active member of drum corps for over 66 years.”
The Alumni will next appear in Frewsburg for their Firemen’s Parade on June 18. Anyone interested in being a part of the Alumni family can contact Jack at 410-2682 for more info.

The members of the Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps, salute all of our fallen men and women of the Armed Forces. They gave everything so we can enjoy this freedom.
