The Dunkirk Joint Veterans Council is holding the annual Memorial Day services and parade on May 25, 2015 in the City of Dunkirk. Services will begin at about 10 a.m. in Memorial Park with the parade to start at approximately 11 a.m. The parade will follow its usual route, heading east from the park on Lake Shore Drive to Central Avenue, then south on Central to Fifth Street, then heading east on Fifth Street and disbands at Washington Park. Most city blocks adjacent to the parade route may be barricaded and closed for the parade. Please be observant for changing traffic patterns.
In case of inclement weather, the Parade will be postponed for up to one hour. Should rain continue, Memorial Day Services will be held at the American Legion, Post 62, Central Ave, Dunkirk, NY.
