The Western New York Alumni Drum Corps recently participated in the annual Fredonia Farm Festival parade. It was a beautiful day as the Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps entertained the crowds all along the parade route.
After the parade, the Corps was invited to play a concert at the Fredonia Fire Hall.
A special thank you to Chief Kurt Maytum and the Fredonia Fire Dept. for their hospitality as all Corps members had a great time after with food and refreshments.
The Corps will next appear at the Seneca Nation’s Fall Festival in Irving on Sept. 13. On Sept. 21, the Corps goes to Silver Creek for the annual Grape Festival. The Corps ends its marching season with a parade and concert in Salamanca for their Autumn Leaves Festival on Oct. 5.
An end of the season party is planned for all members and their families a couple of weeks later.
Director/Drum Major Robert Teclaw and Corps business manager Jack Kujawa thank everyone for what has been a great year. “To all our members, their families and friends, thanks for all the support throughout this drum corps season … you made it happen!”
